Terms & Conditions – Aakash Urja Solar Services

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all solar products, services, installations, warranties, maintenance work, and communication provided by Aakash Urja Solar Services (“Company/We/Us”).

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, or purchasing any solar product or service, you (“Customer/You/Your”) acknowledge and agree to these Terms in full.

2. Scope of Services

The Company provides the following services:

A. Solar Power Solutions

  • Residential, Commercial & Industrial Rooftop Solar Systems
  • On-Grid, Off-Grid & Hybrid Systems

B. Engineering & Design

  • Customized Solar Plant Design
  • Energy Audit & Load Analysis
  • Shadow Analysis & Feasibility Assessment

C. Installation & Commissioning

  • Solar Panel Installation
  • Inverter Configuration
  • Earthing & Safety Installations
  • Testing & System Commissioning

D. Maintenance Support

  • Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)
  • Preventive Maintenance
  • Solar Panel Cleaning Systems

E. Government Approval Support

  • Net-Metering Application
  • DISCOM Approval Processing
  • Subsidy Documentation Assistance
    (Approvals depend entirely on government authorities.)

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must:

A. Provide Accurate Information

  • Correct address, load requirement, rooftop details, and electricity bill.

B. Ensure Site Readiness

  • Provide access to installation teams during working hours.
  • Keep the site safe, clean, and accessible.

C. Obtain Legal Permissions

  • Society or building authority permission (if required).
  • Ensure rooftop structure is strong and safe.

D. Complete Timely Payments

  • Follow the agreed payment schedule.
  • Avoid delays, as they may halt installation.

E. Maintain System Safety

  • Do not modify wiring or system components without Company approval.
  • Inform the Company before making rooftop modifications.

F. Submit Required Documents

For Net-Metering/Subsidy:

  • ID Proof
  • Electricity Bill
  • Property Papers
  • Banking Details
  • Photographs

4. Pricing, Quotations & Validity

A. Quotation Validity

  • All quotations are valid for 7–15 days unless stated otherwise.

B. Price Variations

Final pricing may vary depending on:

  • Rooftop condition
  • Wiring length
  • Additional structure requirements
  • Lifting/scaffolding needs
  • Shadow-free design adjustments

C. Additional Charges

  • GST
  • Transportation
  • Lifting charges
  • Civil work (roof strengthening, waterproofing, cutting, etc.)
  • Government fees

(If not included in quotation, these will be charged separately.)

5. Payments & Billing

Payment Milestones

  1. 40% – Booking & Material Procurement
  2. 40% – Material Dispatch / On-Site Delivery
  3. 20% – Final Installation & Commissioning

Payment Conditions

  • Delayed payments may pause the project.
  • Payments are non-refundable except as per Refund Policy.
  • Payment Modes: UPI, Bank Transfer, IMPS, Cheque, Cash.

6. Installation Timelines

Timelines depend on:

  • Weather
  • Material availability
  • Site readiness
  • Government approval delays

Average Timelines

  • Residential (1–5 kW): 3–10 days
  • Commercial/Industrial: 10–30 days

Timelines are estimates and not guaranteed due to external factors.


7. Warranty, Guarantee & AMC

A. Solar Panels

  • 10–12 years product warranty
  • 25 years performance warranty

B. Solar Inverters

  • 5–10 years brand warranty
  • Optional extended warranty (brand dependent)

C. Mounting Structures

  • Up to 5 years anti-rust warranty (if specified)

D. Installation Warranty

  • 1-year workmanship warranty

E. Batteries (if applicable)

  • 3–5 years warranty depending on technology

Important Warranty Conditions

Warranty becomes void if:

  • Customer tampers with the system
  • Unauthorized electrician alters wiring
  • Rooftop is modified after installation
  • Damage occurs due to fire, lightning, storms, rodents, or negligence

8. Government Approvals & Subsidy

  • The Company assists with documentation and application submission.
  • Approval, processing time, and subsidy sanction are solely controlled by government authorities.
  • Policies may change anytime without notice.
  • The Company is not responsible for delays or rejections.

9. System Performance & Liability

Solar generation depends on:

  • Sunlight availability
  • Dust & cleaning schedule
  • Seasonal changes
  • Shadow and tilt angle

The Company is not liable for:

  • Grid failures
  • Customer-side wiring issues
  • Voltage fluctuations
  • Natural disasters (lightning, storm, bird damage)
  • Loss caused due to negligence

Generation values are estimates, not guaranteed outputs.

10. Intellectual Property

All logos, designs, documents, and website content are the intellectual property of Aakash Urja Solar Services.
Unauthorized use is strictly prohibited.

11. Termination of Services

The Company may terminate services if:

  • False information is provided
  • Payments are delayed beyond the agreed timeline
  • Misbehavior, abuse, or unsafe behavior towards staff occurs
  • Illegal rooftop/electricity usage is identified

12. Amendments

The Company reserves the right to update or revise these Terms at any time without prior notice.
Updated Terms will be made available on the official website.

13. Legal Jurisdiction

All disputes are subject to Ajmer (Rajasthan) Jurisdiction Only.
