Refund & Cancellation Policy – Aakash Urja Solar Services

1. General Refund Terms

This policy applies to:

  • Solar System Installations
  • Material Purchases
  • AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) Services
  • Engineering & Design Services
  • Government documentation services

Solar systems are custom-built technical products, and therefore, many costs become non-refundable once initial work begins.

2. Advance Payment Refund Rules

A. Advance Amount Usage

The advance received from the customer is utilized for:

  • Material booking from manufacturers
  • Engineering design and system planning
  • Technician/Engineer scheduling
  • Project registration and documentation

B. Refund Eligibility

  • Advance is non-refundable in most cases.
  • If the Company fails to initiate any work within 30 days, a partial refund may be considered after internal review.

C. No Refund Conditions

  • If the customer cancels after material procurement
  • If stock has already been reserved or dispatched
  • If engineering design work is completed
  • If technicians have been scheduled or assigned

3. Material & Product Refunds

Once delivered or installed, the following cannot be returned or refunded:

  • Solar Panels
  • Solar Inverters
  • Batteries
  • Mounting Structures
  • Cables
  • Safety Devices (MCB, SPD, Isolator, Earthing)
  • Connectors, fasteners, and accessories

Defective Material

Defective items will be repaired or replaced as per manufacturer warranty, not refunded.

4. Service Refund Conditions

Refund NOT Applicable When:

  • Customer unavailable during installation
  • Site not ready/roof unsafe
  • Incorrect information provided by customer
  • Installation halted due to society/government restrictions
  • Customer changes system size after material dispatch
  • Customer delays submission of required documents
  • Approval delayed by DISCOM/government

Refund Applicable ONLY When:

  • Company fails to provide the agreed installation service entirely
  • Customer pays for an AMC visit, but no technician visit occurs

5. Government Charges

The following fees are strictly non-refundable, as they are paid directly to external authorities:

  • Net-Metering Fee
  • DISCOM Processing Fee
  • Application charges
  • Subsidy documentation charges
  • Inspection fees

6. Warranty & Repair Services

Warranty issues are not grounds for refund.
Repairs, replacements, and inspections will be done according to the respective brand’s warranty policy.

Customers must preserve:

  • Invoice
  • Warranty Card
  • Installation Report

7. Project Cancellation by Company

We reserve the right to cancel the project, with no refund, if:

  • Fraudulent documents are submitted
  • Scheduled payments are denied or delayed
  • Harassment, threats, or misbehavior toward staff occur
  • Roof/site is unsafe or structurally weak

8. Refund Processing Timeline

If a refund is approved:

  • Processing Time: ?
  • Refund Method: ?
  • No cash refunds will be processed

9. Legal Jurisdiction

All refund and cancellation disputes will be governed under:
Ajmer (Rajasthan) Jurisdiction Only.
